A white dress is such a summer staple and an item I wear often in this Florida heat! Any white dress, weather it’s a sundress, midi length or a maxi dress is one item I believe every girl should have in their closet. You literally can’t go wrong with white or a dress, it’s purely a classic and girly. That’s why today I want to show you a few white maxi dresses under $100 that you will love!
When I was in Hawaii, I wore this white maxi dress often (sold out but here’s a similar option). If you read my previous posts about my thoughts on Hawaii, I seriously over packed. I wore about half of the clothes I brought and the rest stayed tucked away in a drawer. One item I did not regret was my white maxi dress and a wardrobe travel essential to any beach or destination vacation for sure!
Most nights were spent walking on the shoreline at the beach watching the sunset. There’s really nothing more fun that twirling in a flowy maxi dress, sand between your toes and no care in the world. A trip to Hawaii was the perfect opportunity to adopt the Aloha lifestyle, slow down and really appreciate the beauty around me. In style of course!
White looks great with everything, especially if you have a summer tan going on! When I buy dresses, I normally try to spend under $100. There are so many pretty white dress options right now, especially with summer sales going on. My favorites right now are this one with lace and a haltered neckline, this off the shoulder option and this cold shoulder dress. All are under $100 and give you that carefree, effortless style.
The beautiful sunset backdrop was the only accessory I needed but maxi dresses look great styled with sandals or wedges for those warm summer days. Since I re-wore this dress multiple times on my trip, you can see how I wore it for a casual day of shopping in a cute surf town called, Haleiwa. Add a straw bag and statement earrings to dress the look up even more! I know were talking about white maxi dresses but look how adorable this striped dress is! I’m a sucker for stripes!

I love the maxi dress! I wear dresses like that to the beach all the time. Although I feel a little self conscious if it’s a windy day and the dress blows around a lot haha.
Do you still wear dresses like this if it’s really windy on the beach? What are your thoughts on this?

September 21, 2021 at 10:14 amthanks Hannah!!! Yes, I do wear dresses on the beach! If it’s really windy, I avoid short dresses because it’s to much of a hassle! I usually prefer long maxi dresses! If they are made from a heavier material, it should not blow around as much. If it’s hurricane like winds, I would just wear shorts so I can enjoy the beach without worrying what I am wearing!
