With Valentines Day quickly approaching and an excuse to dress up, thought this would be a perfect time to introduce my new series called, Look for Less. I’m sharing a Valentines Day Look for Less Under $120!
How adorable is this bright and cheery Valentines day pink and red look? I just ordered this dress pictured above from H&M and it’s on sale for only $25! Red is such a fun color and I plan to wear it all year long! What originally sold me on the dress were the ruffled sleeves ! Shopping after the holidays and New Years is always my favorite because of the amazing sales.
You may not believe it, but I almost exclusively only buy things on sale. Yes, even as a fashion blogger. My mom instilled in me from a young age how to stretch your money and to this day that’s exactly how I shop.
As promised, I am bringing you, my sunny readers all new content this year. (In case you missed it, check out this post on what to expect this year on the blog. The first new series will be called, Look for Less, where I share complete styled looks all for under a specific price point. My hope with this series is that it helps you see styled outfits and at the same time lets me share with you something I’m passionate about which is styling and shopping on a budget!
How to Style the Valentines Day Look for Less
Lets talk about the cutest heart bag ever. If that bag was a person and could talk, it would be so sweet and a major girly girl. The best part is that there’s a handle and it comes with a crossbody strap. Bags that have dual purposes rock! Wear it during the week, on the weekends, a night out with friends or date nights! Shop some more budget friendly blush pink bags here, here and here.
Matching colors together is one of my favorite parts about styling outfits! To keep with the V-Day theme, I decided to add all blush pink accessories to enhance the red. These block heels from Target come in blush pink plus three different colors. Originally I spotted my BFF wearing them and knew they would pair perfect with this dress!
What are your Valentines Day plans? Do you plan on dressing up? Let me know in the comments!
In all honesty, I most likely won’t be doing anything thrilling on Valentines Day. My students have been wanting to have a classroom party (I’m a fashion/culinary teacher) so I told them we could celebrate Valentines Day as a class. There will be lots of cookies, cake and sweet treats! They requested that we all wear pajamas also ha. Maybe I’ll surprise them and wear this dress. Other than that, there won’t be much excitement. Plus, I only really care about getting 50% off candy the next day at Target anyways!
