Time to hype up my most loved striped shirt! Striped shirts are just one of those items in your closet that you can pretty much match with anything and on your worst day, instantly make you look like a billion bucks. I usually wear mine casually with shorts and pants and dress them up with skirts. My striped shirts get the most use during the fall and summer but can be worn year round!

My Saint James Breton Striped Shirt Review
I love love love the casual vibes the Saint James long sleeve shirt gives off when I scrunch up the sleeves. The outfit says says, “Hey I’m relaxed and live a carefree life” even if it feels like pure chaos, hehe. As long as you feel good and look good…that’s all that matters! I purposely bought it in a Small so it was slightly oversized (and not skin tight).
What’s so amazing about the Saint James shirts is that there are so many styles to choose from depending on lifestyle, climate and weather you prefer male or female fitting shirts. I am wearing the Saint James Meridien Moderne Breton Striped Shirt in the Ecru/Navy color! It’s known as a “boyfriend fit” and comes in 10 colors so there’s plenty of variety for each season! The striped shirt also comes in a lightweight cotton material for warmer climates (the next time I purchase one of their shirts, it will be this one for warm Florida summers and mild winters!). Another version is the Women’s Minquidame long sleeve striped shirt made with a light cotton jersey.
Sizing: The Saint James Meridien Moderne runs TTS. I bought a Small for a relaxed fit.

Relaxed Fit
There is nothing that makes my skin crawl more than super tight long sleeved tops (yes I am weird about clothes and textures ha). These days it’s all about being casual. That also means all my clothes must be super comfortable. I am wearing a Small in the striped top and it’s long enough to wear with jeans and tucked into shorts and skirts. It’s also just loose enough I can push up the sleeves when it warms up. Think of a classic and relaxed outfit for bike rides, beach walks, weekend outfits and resort wear!
High Quality
You know when you try something on and you can just tell it’s made well. This shirts is one of those clothing items! The striped top is made from a thick carded cotton yet breathable. I own way to many striped tops with super thin fabric and this shirt is not one of them. The fabric holds up well with outdoor activities and can take a bit of wear and tear and still looks brand new. To the touch, it feels slightly stiff but on it feels great on your skin. If you are looking for a lightweight cotton top, I would recommend the Minquiers Modern.
