Springtime has me all excited! One of my all time favorite parts about Spring is being able to wear even more bright colors, shorts or skirts and floral tops! I recently found the most beautiful floral top for spring that I am obsessed with! Florida is in it’s most beautiful season where we can still wear lightweight sweaters and blouses and also hit the beach on certain days and it’s the best!

Girly Floral Tops for Spring
Are you into the grandmillenial style trends?! I don’t know if it’s exactly “my” style. Part of me wants to *want* to embrace grandma style. However, the other part cannot imagine wearing a mumu nightgown to bed ha! This floral top is somewhere in-between for me and it makes you feel girly the minute you put it on (40% off with code TAKE40)!
There’s the perfect amount of ruffles, a high neck and slight bib! The material is silky and is perfect for mild spring days. It runs very TTS. A few other ways I’m excited to style it would be with a white or denim cut off skirt paired with loafers or sneakers!
Shows like Bridgerton have really inspired 1800’s style but make it 2021 ha! If you have been to Target lately, so many of the dresses look like they were made for Puritans and on Tik Tok, people have been poking fun of them left and right ha! I feel like this top is somewhere in the middle and I am happy with that! It’s feminine yet still classic and cute!
Long sleeve blouses are perfect winter to spring transition pieces. Tuck into white jeans and pair with loafers for a classic look.

As the weather changes, lightweight floral tops are a go-to like this square neck style. Pair with a jeans for a cute bike riding or picnic outfit.
High neckline floral tops are great for spring and will also be a summer wardrobe staple. Pair with denim shorts, a woven bag and sandals for a casual and simple spring look!
How cute are these photos that my mom took!
She’s really getting in a photography groove! When I edit my photos, I always show my mom and say, “Look how amazing you are, you took this!”
Did you hear that I released a few new products in my ETSY shop?! This week I added a floral headband, a new face mask, pink and green inspired palm prints in a headband, scrunchie and hair tie and a blue striped headband that matches the scrunchies from last summer!
This has been such a creative outlet for me and I am so so so thankful for all of your support. It’s been such a fun learning experience!
I hope your week has been amazing! Work at Island Jay is picking up for summer and I usually fill orders on my lunch breaks then blog at nighttime! It’s keeping me occupied and I get to do something I truly love and could not be more excited!
This weekend it’s supposed to be pretty chilly and gloomy and I hope to get some sewing done for a few Easter inspired products!!! I filled an order for a sweet mom who bought 2 striped scrunchies and 2 bow hairties for her daughers Easter baskets. I mean how cute. That made my heart so happy!!!
Lots of Sunshine,
Katie

March 8, 2021 at 7:59 amThis top definitely is the perfect balance of trendy but still giving a nod to the 1800’s. I love the bright and bold color that screams, in a good way, SPRING has SPRUNG, especially paired up with white jeans. I know for sure the mumu is not my jam, LOL. Also , I love the square neckline on tops like the one you featured above. Have a great work week.
