There is just something I love about COLOR. I truly can’t put it into words. My eyes are instantly drawn to anything that is super colorful, especially yellows (my fave color), pinks and blues. I can’t even walk into a store without my eyes automatically being drawn to all of the bright colors and patters. I naturally gravitate toward color. I absolutely love how my camera or phone picks up such rich green color when I’m taking pictures by greenery, grass or trees. The hues on the green are perfection and the camera captures the bright colors so well! I wanted to share a few of my current favorite “colored” things that add a bit of brigthness to my life!
One night after my best friend and I took a long walk on the beach and had girl talk (always the best), I got my longboard out to cruise the parking lot. We ended up taking crazy/silly pictures like always and really just acting completely dumb but having the best time ever. When we are together, we have so much fun anywhere! We could literally be in a empty white room with padded walls and find someway to make it fun for hours. I love my friend, the fun adventures we have and I love the pretty sun setting in the background that makes these pictures so glowy. Plus, my longboard looks like a sunset with yellows, pinks and orange which is why I think I adore these picture so much because their full of my favorite colors. And being outside is always the cherry on top to ending a perfect Sunday evening.

I made homemade waffles for breakfast one morning using Namaste Foods Gluten Free Waffle & Pancake Mix. My friend Michelle introduced me to the mix and I’ve been obsessed ever since. I buy mine at Publix and can be found in the waffle and pancake mix section. I love how simple the ingredients are and there’s no added sugar. I added apples, Grade A Maple Syrup, Natural Peanut Butter and Yogurt.
I ordered The Lent book Study Pack from She Reads Truth and it came with 2 large prints and a few of the scripture memory cards. The book is designed extremely well full of pretty prints, old hymns and daily scripture. It’s quite large book, full of daily goodness and I will be using it for years to come. For the price, I think it’s so worth it!
After sitting all day at work, I love to unwind and do something fun, even if it’s just for 5 minutes. Lately I’ve been trying hard to get outside and do something active on the days I don’t workout. I don’t just want to go through the motions of life each day, I want to truly live life, have fun and enjoy myself, so I’ve been longboarding more, even if it’s just for a few minutes. I love to longboard and feel so free when I cruise the streets, and it’s a great way to clear my head and just pray. The other day I cruised around the parking lot a few times at my work before I left for the day. It was something unexpected that I don’t normally do and felt thrilling (yes, this is my idea of a weekday thrill ha!)! I bought my board on a Black Friday Sale for a super great price and love the colors. My sister had the same one in pink. It’s a Globe board and I bought it from Tactics.com and mainly meant for cruising around.
I always make fun of the word BAE and just thought this shirt from Look Human was really funny. To BAE or nae to BAE. I randomly found it online and sent it to a bunch of my friends for a mid-week laugh. Most thoroughly enjoyed it, and I’m sure some of them just shook their head with my choice of silly humor!
My pug a few summers ago. He recently passed away but this picture is so funny. It captures his personality so well. He hated the water but loved going on the boogie board to be near us in the pool. We would sometimes have to lure him onto the board with watermelon or some kind of fruit.
My Pineapple Phone case if from Wallflower Designs and is one of the best quality iPhone cases I’ve ever had. I’ve had some pretty bad drops with my iPhone 6 where it’s gone flying and landed on concrete or tile and every time I brace myself before I pick it up, but each time my phone hasn’t even had a scratch or nick. One of the prettiest sunsets one night in my hometown. I love where I live and am blown away by God’s creativeness. The sky was so rich in colors that night. There were so many people on the dock and grass watching and a few were even paddle boarding. I was a little jealous they got to float in the water and watch the sunset but for my sisters birthday I bought her a 2 hour kayak deal from Amazon, and we can book the tour for a sunset cruise. We are pretty excited about it, and now that the weather is warmer, we can finally book a night when we can go and I am hoping the sky is just as colorful then as it was this night.
My sister got an ENO for her birthday and that thing is seriously so fun! A few of our friends also have one and we’ve all gone down by the river, hung our hammocks and just read and talked. We made lots of new friends and some people even walked up and would start rocking us! She has the Purple/Teal Double Nest Hammock from Eagle Nest Outfitters and it can fit 2 people comfortably! I asked for one for my birthday in April, and I want to go to a local island on the river and camp there for a night with a few friends and our ENO’s! Doesn’t that sound so fun? Campfires, Smore’s, Enoing in the trees, late night talks, boating, swimsuits, lots of packaged food, and no bathrooms ( I am not extremely thrilled about that part, but I am hoping we can find an island with a bathroom on it). It will be the best start to the summer!
Winter always makes me feel like a total hipster and I start dressing like one to. I am all into the lounge wear trend right now and have a few pairs of “MC Hammer” type pants. They are so comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down. I don’t even exactly wear them to work, but for lounging around on the weekend, they are perfect. I paired my pants from Aerie with my favorite kicks that I bought in Peru last May. I love the pink color and bright Peruvian patterns on them.
