Has anyone noticed lately that classic dresses have been hard to come by or pretty much non-existent? Don’t get me wrong, I love a good puff or flutter sleeve and tiered babydoll dresses. At the end of the day, I tend to lean the most towards classic and timeless pieces. I was super excited when I found this budget friendly classic Walmart shirtdress for only $32!!!
I just got back from Palm Beach! It was a short stay and so fun! I booked solo trip and stayed just one night. Seeing all of the coastal and beachy “street” fashion left me feeling super inspired – I loved every minute of it! My goal was to take tons of photos, window shop and hit the beach and that is exactly what I did!
The Best $35 Classic Walmart Shirtdress!
Widow shopping on Worth Avenue is quite the event! This striped shirtdress would have been perfect to wear on a breezy Spring day. If you’re interested, you can see my 24 Hours Palm Beach Travel guide here.
Finding new brands as a blogger is something I am really passionate about. If you have not checked out the Free Assembly brand line at Walmart, this is your sign to! They have tons of classic and timeless wardrobe staples – like the striped shirtdress!
What I love about the striped shirtdress is that it’s made from 100% organic cotton and the brand is committed to designing sustainable pieces. I styled it with white loafers and a basket bag for an elevated everday look! This is a great 2-in-1 piece! It also doubles as an easy beach cover up! Just unbutton it and throw it over a swimsuit!
Quality is something that is really important to me when buying timeless pieces. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the design of this dress. I would honestly say it has Ralph Lauren/J.Crew quality fabric, silhouette and design! The cuff on the arm has a button placed in the perfect spot making it easy to fold back (instead of rolling). The hem is also slightly longer in the back than the front.
Sizing: Runs true to size. I ordered a Small and it fit’s amazing! Length is amazing on my tall frame! Hits a few inches above the knees!
Lots of Sunshine,
