Part 2: Trinity Fitness Beachside Team Challenge

Part 2: Trinity Fitness Beachside Team Challenge

I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our team, Pretty Little Lifters, in the Trinity Fitness Team Challenge Fundraiser. We were the youngest team and we raised over $3,500. A local church matched our funds, which brought us in at over $7,000, making us the winning team for raising the most money! The morning consisted of a super fun (wayyyyyy hard) workout with a gym full of awesome people. I am beyond grateful that I get to be apart of such an amazing gym and for all of the lifelong friends I have made.

Trinity Team Challenge-1
Trinity Team Challenge-2 The challenge consisted of 3 parts. Part 1 we started out with 100 jump ropes, 50 tire flips and then and max thrusters. Part 2 was a kettle bell/row relay (not pictured) and Part 3 ended the challenge by having your team run around the side of the building, carry a firehouse a certain distance, and then finish the challenge off with max burpee box jumps. At first, looking at the 20 minute workout on the board didn’t seem very difficult, but trust me, by the burpee box jumps, there was not a single person completely out of breath. It was a tough workout to say the least.

Zip (our favorite extra addition to our team) busted her chops in Part 3 and we only lost the challenge in our category by about 20 burpee box jumps and thrusters.
