Fall for us girls in warm climates is unique! There really is an art of getting dressed everyday and pretty much faking that it’s remotely breezy outside. ? While we transition into fall (a fancy word meaning that us Florida people are waiting till it cools down in January ha!) I have been loving wearing puff sleeve tops! In fall colors of course!
Puff Sleeve Tops for Fall
I mentioned it in my last post and I will say it again, getting dressed in fall when it’s still warm out, it like getting dressed in the summer. You just change the colors palate! Yesterday, I walked outside to my pool to walk a few laps while I posed on Insta stories and was like NOPE, not today. It was 85 degrees out! Let’s also pretend that when my mom and I took these photos that it was breezy, crisp and cool outside!

Target Puff Sleeve Top (under $25) / Madewell Overalls (sold out, similar) / J.Crew Factory Sneakers / Old Navy Headband (similar)
When I was on my weekly Target trip a few weeks ago, I always make sure I “browse” the clothes. You know, just in case I find something I can buy on my next Target trip, ha! This cute dark yellow floral puff sleeved top stood out and I bought it right then and there. I mean, when a girly top is under $25, you have to grab it and run before it flies off the shelves! If I needed a Zoom call top, this would be it! Wearing a size Small and it fits true to size! It’s long enough to tuck into skirts, overalls and jeans but short enough it’s not baggy!
Puff sleeve tops are awesome because you can style them multiple ways! Usually those “style this item 6 ways” never works for me because in the summer, there’s not much layering you can do with a dress. Basically, this shirt can be styled a bunch, like in 6 ways and it’s pretty exciting! For this outfit, I styled them with overalls. They would also look extra cute styled with mom jeans or a corduroy skirt!
I found a bunch of puff sleeve tops in so many fun fall colors like burgundry, olive green, emerald, yellow duh!, mauve, and neutrals like off white! Because these tops speak for themselves, they really only need to pair with with jeans or a colorful skirts! The goal is to look like a fall leaf! The end!
