Fancy Floral Maxi Dress

For Spring and summer I really wanted a floral dress that was a bit more on the fancy side. For some odd reason I tried to order one from Forever 21 online and I am not even sure why I did because I ended up returning it. Every time I try and shop there I am always reminded that their clothes just don’t fit me right and I think the clothing is poorly made. When I truly want something specific I tend to wait because I always end up finding exactly what I am looking for. Patience is key when shopping for an item, especially a dress that you will really love in the long run. I can’t find this exact dress online anywhere but I did find a super similar floral style here.

What’s great about this dress is that I can wear it to church, out to dinner and summer weddings. The print is just loud enough but not overwhelming. I love the flowy detail at the top and it even has adjustable straps which is great for girls like me with a smaller upper body. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a dress with a slip in it. I’ve talked about trends before and how I tend to stay away from pieces that are really out there or won’t last more than a season but these new Pom Pom statement earrings are one I can really get into! I love all of the different colors they come in like pink, blue and white. You can easily match them with different outfits.  I went with white because I knew it would match most of my outfits and will hopefully outlast any seasonal color trends.

I bought this dress at a local boutique called Sundress Boutique (I met the girl Sarah who owns it when I worked in Downtown Melbourne and she worked in the boutique next to me). She’s the sweetest, is actually my hair dressers sister and recently opened a new location in Cocoa Beach!
