A Little Bit of Hippie

And a whole lot of boho. This will probably be the last time I’ll be wearing booties on the blog for a while. The temps are rising fast which means sandals will be making many more appearances. I bought these boots for $35 on major sale at Dillard’s in March. Yay for super discounted winter booties that were originally $120.

The dress was originally purchased from a Francesca’s outlet store near me back in the fall. I found a similar version here. This is my favorite dress to layer with and wear boots. Some dresses just look weird with boots, especially my more “summery ones”. But not this little number.

Sale’s are the one way I shop. I would say everything in my closest in under $100 or less. I’d even argue most pieces own are all under $50 besides my fav leather J.Crew bag. Buying new boots were really the last thing I had in mind when I went to the mall less than a month ago. The deal was to good to give up and Dillard’s actually had my size. They never have size 9 sale boots, like ever! I had to go for it and I am sure glad I did.

If I wear this dress again before I stash it away until next fall/winter I’d pair it with a jean jacket for Spring. I think the jean material would contrast against the green tie dye dress. The cardigan defiantly gives it that boho hippie feel but I would have to say the grey and green colors paired together are not my absolute favorite.
